Take A Blake

$175.00
sold out

This one’s called “Take A Blake” because when our son was little, we’d tell him to “take a break” from aggravating his sisters or some physical activity or eating too fast, but he’d pronounce it “take a blake.” And we still say that now when we need to take a break from something. I reeeeeeally hated this painting most of the way through, but couldn’t figure out why. And then I took a blake, had a snack, came back, changed the colors, and now I don’t hate it. Sometimes you just need to take a blake, guys, to get some perspective.

Approximately 11.75 x 8.25 inches oil on handmade cotton paper
